POLICE patrols have again been deployed to provide reassurance after a man was seen acting "suspiciously" in a church yard.
This comes after a man was seen in the grounds off Church Street and Westhoughton Central Park last week acting in a suspicious manner.
Police reassurance patrols were deployed across Westhoughton yesterday and today have been out again with a particular focus on parks and school grounds.
A police spokesperson said: "Bolton Neighbourhood patrols were out again in Westhoughton this morning engaging with the community and focusing on parks and areas close to school grounds.
"Officers spoke with local residents and listened to their views and concerns. No reports of suspicious activity has been reported on either days that Officers have been in the area."
