Delays: A section of the M62 has been closed
A MOTORWAY section has been closed with drivers warned to expect delays and diversions.
This comes after police were called to an incident on the M62 at around 6.50am on Saturday morning.
The M62 is now closed westbound between junction 9 and junction 8 with drivers heading into Greater Manchester likely to be impacted.
Highways North West have advised anyone travelling along the route to allow for extra time and follow the Solid Diamond diversion signs.
