A ROTARY club says that it is launching a "special message from Father Christmas" for local children.
Westhoughton Rotary Club screened a similar video last year and hope that this year's message will be just as successful in spreading Christmas cheer across the town.
The video will be available on the club's website, Facebook page, Instagram account, and Twitter feed from Monday December 6.
Rotary president Anya Bailey said: "This Christmas we’re excited that Rotary Father Christmas has once again recorded a special message for all local children.
"He’s keen to tell everyone that his sleigh will be back on Westhoughton streets again and how much he’s looking forward to meeting as many children, parents, grandparents, everyone very soon.
"We want to share it with as many local children as possible.
"Please pass on this message to all the children you know."
The Rotary club says that anyone who would like Father Christmas to send a Christmas card to their child or children can email Father-Christmas@Westhoughton-Rotary.org.
