MOTORWAY users have been warned to expect delays after a collision earlier today.

Transport for Greater Manchester first reported the incident on the M62 between junctions 17 and 16 anticlockwise at around 8.30am on Monday morning.

The transport authority warned drivers to initially expect delays, while the crash had also caused delays on the M62 westbound.

By around 9.20am congestion had eased but drivers were still warned to expect delays of around 15 minutes between junctions 19 and 16.

Motorway users have been warned to plan ahead and seek alternative routes.
