A CARELESS driver had no insurance when he drove a van in Tyldesley, Manchester magistrates heard.
Nigel Gavin, aged 43, of Bullows Road, Little Hulton, initially denied driving the Vauxhall Combo van without due care and attention on Manchester Road on July 4, but then changed his plea to guilty when he appeared in court. He admitted having no insurance.
He was fined £170 plus £184 in costs and six penalty points were added to his licence.
