A FRESH series of walks is set to be undertaken by the Bolton CHA Rambling Club.
This Saturday three treks will depart from various locations across the borough.
The first, over 11 miles of rough moors, to Noon Hill will see a meet-up at the Cross Guns pub in Egerton, at 10am, en-route to Stones Bank, Belmont, Catter Nab, Noon Hill, Winter Hill and , Longworth Clough.
Another for Dean Mill Reservoir sees ramblers assemble at 10.30am at Moss Bank Park, taking in Barrow Bridge, Burnt Edge, Dean Mills (Booths) Reservoir, Whimberry Hill, Horrock's Quarries, Tippett House over eight miles.
A third six-miler is for Ainsworth, meeting at the White Horse, Stitch-Mi-Lane, for Harwood Golf Course, Ainsworth Reservoir, Walshaw Village, and Bentley Hall.
