A BOLTON MP has confirmed he did not attend an alleged festive party at 10 Downing Street last Christmas.

And Bolton North East’s has urged TV pundit Gary Neville, who questioned his movements, to join him in hosting a festive gathering for the disadvantaged in Bolton.

The former Man United star and Sky Sports presenter had challenged Mr Logan to raise concerns over claims a seasonal gathering took place in Downing Street, while Bolton and other towns were locked down last year.

Bury-born Neville also urged people to write to their own MP, expressing similar disquiet over the rumoured bash on December 18 in Westminster.

Mr Logan, in his reply, said: “As a new MP, the first time I attended No.10 was in January 2020. The next time I attended No.10 was in November 2021.

"I would be genuinely keen to speak with Gary, who I have never met before, to potentially co-host a small group of disadvantaged residents for a Christmas Dinner here in Bolton.”

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has come under increasing fire over the bash. Justice Secretary Dominic Raab claimed police did not investigate year-old crimes.
