Driver fined after carrying settee in car
MAGISTRATES have fined a man after he was caught carrying an unsecured settee dangerously in a Nissan X Trail.
The case against Nicholas Oxton, aged 42, of Manchester Road, Little Hulton, was proved at Manchester Magistrates’ Court.
He had been carrying the settee on the vehicle on Jackson Street, Worsley, on April 29.
Oxton was fined £440 plus £134 in costs and charges and four penalty points were added to his licence.
