NEW Covid-19 measures will be in place for Wanderers’ clash with Wycombe on Saturday, but what does it mean for supporters?

Following the government’s recent ‘Plan B’ announcement, fans over the age of 18 must show valid proof of their Covid-19 status.

This can be in the form of an NHS Covid pass - which can be accessed digitally through the NHS app or via a paper pass – or an approved international equivalent.

In order to acquire a Covid pass, supporters must have had two doses of an approved Covid vaccine. The single-dose Janssen vaccine is also acceptable.

Fans can also acquire a Covid pass if they are medically exempt from receiving a vaccine. Here is a guide on how to get your Covid pass.

Supporters who don’t have a Covid pass can enter the stadium if they have text or email confirmation of a negative PCR or lateral flow test in the 48-hour period before kick-off.

Anyone attending the Bolton Whites Hotel and corporate hospitality areas will also need to show proof of their Covid status.

However, supporters under the age of 18 will not need to show proof of their Covid status to attend the game.

Fans are asked to arrive “as early as possible” to allow for the extra checks to take place, and to download the NHS app in advance.

IPhone users can store their Covid pass in their Apple Wallet, while Android users can store theirs in Google Pay.

Moreover, it is now a legal requirement for anyone attending the game to wear a face covering while in the concourse. This is not necessary once seated.
