SUPPORTERS of Bolton's Steam Museum are preparing to fire up their engines after Christmas.
Steamings are set to take place at their Atlas Mills home, in Mornington Road, off Chorley Old Road.
The sessions will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 28 and 29.
Admission is free but the museum is reliant on donations to continue their unique showcase.
A spokesman said: "We are a charity run entirely by volunteers, and do not charge for admission, relying on donations to cover our operating expenses."
Volunteers there have restored 30 old stationary steam engines, salvaged from former cotton and wool mills across Lancashire.
The oldest engine in their collection is 180 years old and most of the models will be running over the two days.
