Arrested: The driver was stopped by police after an off-duty inspector smelled cannabis
A MAN has been arrested for drug driving offences on a motorway after an off-duty police inspector smelled cannabis coming from his car.
The man had been driving on the M60 when the off-duty Road Police Unit inspector noticed his car weaving around and detected the smell of cannabis.
The driver was then stopped by traffic police shortly afterwards and was arrested after testing positive for cocaine and cannabis.
