DRUGS and and cash were discovered by police who gave chase after spotting what they described as a motorist acting suspiciously.
Officers from the Bolton Acquisitive Crime Team pursued the vehicle after the driver failed to stop.
They managed to detain the driver and a search of the man and the vehicle an assortment of drugs were found.
The man was arrested and has since been released under investigation.
A spokesman for Bolton's neighbourhood police said: Last night (05/01/2022) officers from the Bolton Acquisitive Crime Team sighted a vehicle acting suspiciously, after a short pursuit due to the driver failing to stop when requested by officers, the driver was detained.
"Upon a search of the male and the vehicle, multiple drugs were found. Further checks on the male determined him to be a disqualified driver.
"The male was arrested, and has been released under investigation whilst the officers continue with their investigation."
