WANDERERS striker Eoin Doyle has joined Irish side St Patrick's Athletic on a long-term contract.
Doyle was the Whites’ top scorer last season, finding the net 19 times as Ian Evatt’s men won promotion from League Two.
Wanderers have already bolstered their attacking options in the January window with the signing of Northern Ireland international Dion Charles from Accrington Stanley.
Here's what fans had to say about the move.
Eoin was a major signing for us and he lived up to his billing with his 19 goals last year and played pivotal part in our promotion campaign, i wish him all the best at his new club.

Great player for us. Not a bad transfer for both sides free up a bit of wage budget now for another decent signing

wouldn’t be in league one without this man. thank you ginger pele 🇮🇪 ❤️

Thanks for your goals that got us promoted, absolutely no doubt we'd still be in league 2 if it wasn't for you. Good luck back in Ireland, you'll always be a hero back in Bolton 👍

If we are to progress, we do need to be shipping out theses types of player. He's been a good servant, but I think we've got the most we can out of him.

Still same picture though. Need a backup still
One thing you can say about him is he is a solid professional. Scored goals when we needed him to and, without him, there is no doubt we would still be in L2. All the best Doylaaaaar

Nothing but praise for @eoindoyle88

Been some signing for us and wish him all the best. Regardless of form, always gave 100% #bwfc
Good business all around IMO letting Doyle go, can’t fault his 18 months but it’s time to replace one of the biggest earners with a younger model now #bwfc

What a signing he was and what an impact he’s had. #BWFC are on their way back and Eoin Doyle has led the start of that journey back. https://t.co/gLKjmdwL3q
