A MAN has been ordered to carry out 180 hours of unpaid work after he assaulted a woman, sent offensive messages and damaged her mobile phone and a baby cot.
At Bolton Magistrates’ Court Jack Pearson, aged 24, of Hill Lane, Blackrod, pleaded guilty to committing the offences in January last year.
In addition to the unpaid work, Pearson was ordered to have treatment for alcohol addiction and must participate in 20 days of rehabilitation activities.
He was also ordered to pay £295 in costs and charges and a restraining order was made banning him from contacting his victim or going to an address in Manchester Road, Bolton.
