Fire crews were called to a domestic fire in the early hours of this morning after an out building fire spread to a mid terrace property.
The crews were called to Penn Street, Horwich at around 3am and managed to get everyone safely out of the property.
It took Bolton Central Fire three hours to stop the blaze with attending crews managing to limit the spread of the fire.
A spokesperson for Bolton Central Fire said the crew want to remind the public on the use of fire alarms.
They said: "We can't stress the importance of have working fire alarms in your property.
"They will give you an early warning if a fire is detected.
"If you would like a fire alarm fitted, you can contact the Fire Service Centre on 0800555415."
