WANDERERS have signed goalkeeper James Trafford on loan from Manchester City until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old has experience in League One with Accrington Stanley this season and has also been involved in Pep Guardiola’s first team squad in the Premier League.
Here's what fans had to say about the move.
Not going to write off a keeper over previous highlights. Let’s hope he gives Dixon some competition and may the best man take the starting job! #bwfc

Sounds like a huge gamble but hope he does well for us, otherwise look destinated for relegation fight.

IE going again with an inexperienced keeper. After the Crellin fiasco, I'm holding my judgement.#bwfc https://t.co/1c1UkzG2lP

Not writing this transfer off at all but I’m confused by it. We want someone with proper experience at this level or above to compete with Dixon and we go for a Crellin type move. If it’s the same as last season the recruitment team haven’t learnt. Welcome James 👊🏼 #bwfc

People saying to give Hutchinson a chance as they are the same age, Trafford has experience at this level and is an England u20 keeper. All for giving our own a chance but luke has only been on loan in the lower leagues and it would be harsh to throw him in straight away #bwfc https://t.co/e4Mtz0vGfy

Don’t understand this at all but wish him well and hope he’s good for us 👍🏻

26 goals conceded in 11 games in league 1 😞

We've had players that have looked like World beaters on social media then turned out utter bobbins, so hopefully the roles reverse this time. Needs to be an absolute loudmouth to get our defence in order. Behind him all the way #bwfc https://t.co/PZ2JmlMvOT
