TWO MEN have been charged in connection with a robbery in which a business's staff were threatened with knives.
Joseph Nunn, 24 of Sandpiper Close, Farnworth and Daniel Cooke, 28 of Egerton Grove, Walkden, were both arrested at the scene of a robbery on Portwood Trading Estate on Carrington Road, Werneth, Stockport in which three men armed with knives burst into a business and were threatening staff before police arrived just after 7.30am.
Nunn and Cooke have both now been charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon and have been remanded in custody.
The third man made off from the scene in a vehicle and an investigation is underway to trace him.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with DashCam footage to come forward.
