Farnworth Live music festival will be back this year and the chosen destination has finally been revealed.

After the huge success of the festival last year, organisers BL4 Live are excited to bring a double day special on June 2 and 3 to residents across the borough.

Situated right in the heart of Farnworth, the event will take place at Fern Street Fields, a place which is special to the organiser Gary Daniels.

Gary said: “Myself and the team are really excited about the return of the festival this year.

“I grew up in Lower Rawson Street and my parents and sister are still living there so to be delivering the event at this location is like being at home.”

The event will run for two days with tribute acts for star names such as Ariana Grande, Lionel Richie, Coldplay, Beyonce, Meat Loaf, Paloma Faith, Rod Stewart, Robbie Williams and many more.

“We have an incredible line up of acts over the two days and we’re just keen to see the community get together in great numbers as they did last year,” Gary added.

“We’re keen to welcome local independent traders who may want to join us on the day.

“All enquiries(should be made to info@farnworthlive.com.”

Farnworth councillor Paul Sanders said the festival has put the town on the map.

He said: “Farnworth Live is another positive, to add to the progress of recent years, which once again puts our proud town firmly back on the map.

“Festivals like this positively bring our communities together. Residents are keenly looking forward to Farnworth Live 2022.”

Tickets can be bought online at farnworthlive.com with adult tickets priced at £30 and under 18s priced at £15, for both days.
