BOLTON'S NHS trust has made it to the finals of a national awards ceremony that highlights the use of technology in the health sector.

Three teams and one staff member from Bolton NHS Foundation Trust has been shortlisted for a total of six categories in the HTN Now Awards 2022.

The awards are run by the Health Tech Newspaper and aim to celebrate digital teams working at health trusts around the country.

Bolton clinical lead in acue medicine Nithin Narayan, who has been nominated for health tech leaders of the year, said: "I am so proud of my colleagues throughout the Trust for their hard work on these projects and it is especially pleasing to be shortlisted in recognition of this.

"We are always looking for ways to improve safety and the experience of our patients when using our services and it is so rewarding to see our innovations achieve this."

Nominees are selected thanks to the roles they have played in utiliting the most innovative technology available to health trust and for making a real difference to the lives of patients and staff over the course of the year.

The winners will be announced at a virtual ceremony on Thursday January 20.
