HARRY Brockbank has ended a lengthy stay at Wanderers to pursue an opportunity in the United States.
The defender joined the Whites' youth ranks at the age of seven and went on to make 36 appearances for his hometown club.
He was regularly involved last season as Ian Evatt's men won promotion to League One at the first time of asking.
Here's what fans had to say about the news.
Had hopes he'd be a future captain of the team - good luck in the good old U S of A Harry! 👋🇺🇲✈

He's one of our own, he's one of our own, Harry Brockbank, he's one of our own 💙🤍

You led us through our darkest hours and pulled us through, you'll never be forgotten kiddo.
Why are we just giving players away? I wish Brocky all the best for his future but it feels like our club is being dismantled piece by piece.

Didnt expect this, but good luck to him

All the best Brocky. Top lad who stepped up and made a difference. Legend

Best of luck Brocky, call me old fashioned but I always thought it was traditional to ask for some money if someone wants one of your players though

All the best, but definitely needed a different challenge #bwfc https://t.co/rCeRy7p97H

Didnt see this coming. Wish nothing but the very best for the lad. Stepped up when we needed him and forced his way into the squad. Gave nothing but his all and will always be well thought of. Good luck Brocky and smash it out there! #bwfc https://t.co/iR4IvFvOw3

Good luck Brocky. Will always have a place in #BWFC history as captain of THAT side. https://t.co/VICZVp5BXZ
