POLICE were back at Bolton Interchange after another disturbance, this time involving young people.

It comes just over a week after officers were called to a large brawl, in which one person was stabbed, near the interchange.

Last night, officers said the dispersed the group of young people after being called to reports of anti-social behaviour.

Neighbourhood officers and town centre PCSOs broke up the group.

Now police are working to identify those involved, including with local schools.

A GMP Bolton South spokesperson said: “This behaviour will not be tolerated and we work closely with GMTravelSafe partnership including local schools and CCTV will be viewed and offenders identified and dealt with.”

Police have been stepping up patrols at Bolton Interchange in recent months.

Last Wednesday, police were called after a large brawl broke out near the interchange in which two people were wounded.
