WANDERERS have completed the signing of Iceland striker Jon Dadi Bodvarsson from Millwall.
The forward arrives on a free transfer after coming to an agreement on the remainder of his contract with the Lions.
He becomes the Whites' fifth signing of the month after Dion Charles, Marlon Fossey, Aaron Morley and James Trafford.
Here's what fans had to say about the deal.
Welcome aboard. Hopefully works out as well as some previous Icemen. #bwfc https://t.co/rUv8bgIyI4

Yeah JDB hasn’t got the best record goal scoring wise, but if he takes defenders away, wins headers, plays with his back to goal in a similar way to madine, It helps Charles if they’re playing together & it gives us a plan B like people wanted #bwfc

The Icelandic tradition resumes! #bwfc
— Phil Parker (@ppainsworth) January 20, 2022
If he's half as good as some of the Icelandic players we've had he'll be a gooden.

Let's hope the fans give him a chance! #bwfc
Anyone doubting this guys goal scoring record simply doesn’t understand the fact he offers a new and different attacking outlet.

Exactly what we need to help someone like Dapo succeed.
Also how often do we see players shine in a division lower.
What a signing utw#bwfc https://t.co/VQgJEHKf1o
MASSIVE #bwfc https://t.co/6iB13cfCYm

We still need another striker. Bodvarsson is just a replacement for Doyle. Ideally a pacy striker that we can bring on for 15/20 minutes to run at tired defenders. Even better if they actually have a decent goalscoring record… #bwfc

John, Sheehan, Charles, Isgrove, Kachunga, Gordon & now Bodvarsson are all fully internationally capped.

Johnston, Fossey, Amaechi & Trafford have all been involved in international youth set-ups.
International breaks could suddenly become interesting from a #BWFC perspective!
