A STOLEN car has been found by police officers while on night patrol last night.
The red SEAT Ibiza was originally taken during a burglary and was discovered by officers in a car park on Keats Street, Leigh on Thursday while patrolling around the town.
The car was parked and appeared to be unattended at the time.
It has now been recovered and police say it will receive a CSI exam to determine its origins before it is returned to its rightful owners.
No arrests have yet been reported in connection with the theft.
Police have also appealed for members of the public who may know anything about the burglary to get in touch by calling 101.
Alternatively, witnesses can contact independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
