A BOLTON-based tech company have announced its expansion and are on the lookout for fresh talent.

Located on Bark Street, CCTV technology company 4Sight Imaging has revealed a number of new business relationships throughout the north of England and is on the lookout for further alliances who would look to help with distribution of their unique equipment.

The company is now aiming to build on their recent success and are now looking to boost their workforce and add to their current team of specialised, highly qualified technologists.

The cameras are predominantly used for highway surveillance, where they help local authorities identify road safety issues, such as detecting anti-social behaviour by motorists. They have also developed automatic toll road systems, negating the necessity for people-operated booths.

4Sight's technology is also utilised in several other ways, including car park management, in manufacturing production lines and in the defence industry.

Manchester-based computer systems company, Nimans, and UK wide security sector distributor, Operma, are both now using their automatic number plate recognition system, and South Yorkshire security systems integrator, White Rose Security, is now involved with the installation of automatic numberplate recognition technology.

Managing director Brook Jackson said: “I am particularly pleased that some of the people we’ve teamed up with are in the north of England. It feels really good to be working with people locally.

"We are keen to help ensure that the quality levels of our products are sustained, that end-user customers get good value, not just from us, but from our supply chain.”

“We’re finding that these people we’ve partnered with are great people to help us all achieve that objective."

After a difficult time for many businesses during the pandemic, it would seem that the future is bright for 4Sight Imaging, and Mr Jackson is certainly hoping to build on the momentum they have created with their recent alliances and bring more employment to Bolton.

He said: “Like many companies the pandemic stalled our progress in 2021. But the projects we can make a telling contribution to are still there to be bid for. We’re now looking for talent to help us with this goal.”
