The Curse is a new crime-comedy from Channel 4 that will be airing this weekend.

It follows a group of small-time crooks in 1980s London as a down-on-his-luck cafe owner is persuaded by his friends to take part in a warehouse robbery.

This turns into one of the biggest heists in history when they stumble on boxes of gold bullion, worth more than £30 million.

Among the cast is Allan Mustafa, from People Just Do Nothing, Tom Davis, Steve Stamp, Abraham Popoola and Emer Kenny.

Fiona McDermott, Head of Comedy at Channel 4, said: “It's been such a treat to see these mega comedy talents collide with The Curse. As gripping as it is daft, we're thrilled to have such an ambitiously funny show from these brilliant creatives coming to Channel 4.”
