AMIR Khan's cousin, Abdul Khan won his third professional fight last night in Manchester.
The Bolton born 19-year-old was on the undercard on Saturday night and made his hometown proud against Ricky Starkey in a 40-35 on points.
Featherweight Abdul now extends his record to 3-0 and is looking sharp to continue his winning streak.
Comments poured in for the teenager after his win, congratulating him on his latest success.
The Mayor Of Bolton tweeted: "Congratulations Abdul . Bolton is very proud of your success this evening. Your hard work and dedication to the sport has paid off tonight."
Abdul was eight years old when he first went to a boxing gym to start the sport as a hobby.
He had his first fight at 12-years-old and loved it, having now had over 42 fights.
He said then: “I came here during lockdown in 2020 and never had any thought of turning pro then.
“I’m making the transition from amateur to pro.”
