A stolen motorbike was stopped after its rider tried to make off from police and was then discovered to have been carrying drugs.
The rider had tried to get away from a police patrol yesterday by escaping through Bolton Town but was spotted by officers on Wigan Road.
They then followed the bike onto Beaumont Road today where the rider was stopped and arrested.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “This stolen Honda 125cc made off from a Road Police Unit patrol yesterday making off through Bolton Town Centre.
“Sighted today by the SRT Tasking Team on Wigan Road it was followed onto Beaumont Road where the rider was taken off the bike!
“They were arrested for theft of a motor vehicle and possession with intent to supply plus going equipped.”
