A BROMLEY Cross animal rescue centre has launched a cat Mother’s Day raffle to help them raise money for vet care.

Diefers Legacy Animal Rescue centre are asking for any unwanted gifts that are no longer wanted or needed.

With Mother's Day just over two weeks away on March 27, the rescue centre decided to mark the occasion for cat mums too with a raffle, where tickets will be £2 each.

Owner Lisa Thorley, said: “Do you have any unwanted gifts in your home that you no longer want or need?

“If so please consider donating them to us for our upcoming raffle which we are holding to raise money to pay for the vet care of our rescue kitties.

“We have several drop off points or we can also arrange collection if needed.”

The raffle will take place on Saturday March 26 and will be drawn by a random number generator.

Payments can be sent to: PayPal - alathea39thorley@gmail.com.

Those paying via PayPal need to opt for the "paying a friend" option rather than " paying for goods and/or services", due to PayPal taking a percentage if you opt for the latter, meaning the rescue centre won’t receive the full donation.

Bank transfers can also be made to the rescue account: Mrs L A Thorley 090129 57136808
