Tickets are still available for a Passion Play, depicting the true meaning of Easter, which will be staged in Bolton in just under two weeks.

The Bridge Church in Bolton is staging The Last Days, portraying events during the last days of the life of Jesus and his resurrection.

The shows were originally planned to take place in 2020 but were cancelled for two years due to the pandemic.

Rob Slater, who takes the role of Jesus, said: "After waiting two years to bring The Last Days to Bolton, we are now less than two weeks away from presenting the play and the cast is so excited.

"We believe it will be something really special, tickets are only £4, don't miss out."

The show will be performed by a cast of 37 including Jesus, the disciples, high priests, soldiers, the crowd and more.

Tickets are priced at £4 each and the play premieres from April 6 to 8 the week before Easter.

It will take place at The Bridge Church Bradford Street, The Haulgh, which can host 300 guests each evening.
