THE community in Horwich are getting creative this Easter with their traditional window displays across their homes, and businesses, as well as putting on their free Easter trail.

Some members of the Horwich Neighbourhood Trail group, will decorate their homes, shops, businesses, and windows in an Easter theme, as well as their gardens.

The displays will be made up of handmade crafts and creative props brought together to make some stunning displays.

Members of the public are invited to walk around Horwich in their own time, at their own pace, and view these Easter displays.

You can also download an answer form to enter the Easter Egg Code Competition.

All you have to do is write down the unique egg number found in each display and add them all together to get your Easter Egg Code.

Then return to the website to submit your answer and enter the competition.

Local businesses have managed to get together over £150 worth of prizes for the competition, including gift vouchers; a family meal; a chocolate hamper; a bouquet of flowers; a large teddy; and a kids bumper art set.

All correct entries will go into the prize draw.

The trail can be walked between Friday 15- Sunday 17 April.

The competition closes at 8pm on Sunday April 17.

The draw will be made on Monday April 18, and winners will be announced on their Facebook group and on their website.

There are currently 34 displays already registered.

At least one week before the trail starts, there will be a trail map to help you locate the displays from their website, which can be found here.
