CORRIE'S lovable rogue Les Battersby will be in Bolton next month ­— oh yes he will!

The 'Street's' legend will be playing a wizard of a role as he stars in the the Albert Hall's Easter panto.

Families are being invited to join Dorothy over the rainbow in the magical land of Oz she befriends a brainless scarecrow, a loveable tin man and the cowardly lion on their quest to thwart the evil powers of The Wicked Witch of The West, with a little help from Glinda the Good Fairy and the almighty and powerful Wizard of Oz, good

The production starts Coronation Street Legend Bruce Jones as The Wizard of Oz and Channel 5’s Milkshake Amy Thompson as Dorothy in this egg-citing Easter production.

Joining the cast is pantomime favourite Liam Mellor as the scarecrow who has performed in theatres across the UK, TV and radio's Mikey Smith as The Lion

alongside local favourites Andrew Curphey as the tin man and Rebecca Lake as Glinda The Good.

The show fun for all the family - from the ages of two to 102 - is packed with songs, brilliant dance routines and plenty of laughter,

Producer Kevin Brown says “It’s going to be a great pantomime this year and we are so excited to be working with Coronation Street legend Bruce Jones known best as the loveable ‘Les Battersby’.

"We can’t wait to bring fun and laughter to the people of Bolton.”

The show is on Friday, April 15 April at 6pm and Saturday, April 16 at 2pm and 6pm.
