So who is winning the war in the Ukraine? It is a good question and the answer my friends is blowing in the wind.

Why, it’s America! They used to be the second largest buyer of oil from Russia after China; if America had not bought oil from Russia then Russia would not have been available to afford the war against Ukraine. Remember America is self-sufficient in oil and gas so they did not need to buy any of it.

America has managed to persuade Europe to buy American gas, to stop the second pipeline from Russia into Germany and to stop buying any gas from Russia by 2030.

America also has a commitment from the European states in NATO to spend 2% of the gross national product saving it a fortune.

The weapons manufacturers of America paid for the US Presidential Election so by supplying Ukraine with weapons President Biden has cleared his debt to them.

Who’s been buying the shares on the Russian stock exchange when it re-opened on Thursday, up by some 11%; Who are the losers? The Ukrainians certainly, the poor of the world definitely.

In Ukraine thousands of people have been displaced, children traumatised cities and agriculture destroyed.

This in turn will affect British farming with rising prices and farmers unable to make a living.

The Russian people will also suffer; they did not want this war and will be greatly weakened and the West will glory in it.

America wants regime change, that’s the bottom line but you should always be careful what you wish for. This war will bring suffering and starvation to the Middle East and the Far East; starvation and regime change possibly in many countries and it will come back to bite us.

Our politicians have known this war was coming since America overthrew the government of Ukraine back in 2014 but they did nothing to stop it.

France, Germany and Hungary held a tri-party conference to try to solve the issue but the UK did nothing to help. Look what has happened - was it worth it? I leave it to you to decide.
