Faryal Makhdoom, wife of boxer Amir Khan, has teased the couple’s reality TV show Meet The Khans in an Instagram show.

The popular social media star and model took to Instagram yesterday with a picture of herself and husband Amir, all dressed up.

Faryal and Amir had been at the Time 100 event in Dubai, brushing shoulders with high profile celebs like the famous beauty queen Huda Beauty.

She captioned her picture: “Meet The Khans” series 2 — out soon  @Bbc @bbcthree.”

The Bolton News understands it will air in a couple of weeks.

The famous couple split their time between Dubai and England now, seemingly spending less and less time in Amir’s hometown, Bolton.

Meet The Khans series one aired last year in March on BBC Three and was instantly a hit with fans.

It was even up for nominations at the Broadcast Awards for Best Multichannel Programme.

The show was produced by Chatterbox media and follows the professional boxer’s home life with wife Faryal Makhdoom and their three children.

The full series was released on BBC iPlayer, however, was also being shown on BBC One every Monday evening.

Amir said the show about his family brought them closer together and emphasises his strong connection to his hometown of Bolton.

He said he has had “so many opportunities” to leave Bolton but has always stayed in the town.

The first series of Meet The Khans had 6 million requests on BBC iPlayer and took the audience into their jet setting world and the realities of juggling parenthood and business and into their much publicised relationship.

It followed the scandals of their relationship and the effect it had on Faryal, as she broke down on camera talking about trolls sending her horrible messages to taunt her.

Faryal has expressed in the past that she wanted the show to be ‘real’ to her and show fans what she is like in her day-to-day life without needing to be sorry for it.

After Amir’s crushing defeat against Kell Brook in February this year, he will look at his career options on the show and how he can move on from it, while Faryal finally lifts the lid on her own career aspirations and enterprises.

There is no set date for the show yet.
