Are you looking for exciting activities for you and your family this Easter? - Well look no further, here are some activities going on across the borough.

Across the bank holiday weekend, there are a range of Easter Egg Hunts, fairs and treasure hunts for all to enjoy.

Here are some of the events The Bolton News has seen coming up this weekend.

Saturday April 16

Easter Egg Hunt at Queen's Park by Potters House Community Church Bolton.

On Saturday, join the team from 2pm and have a fun Easter day out, following the trail where you can hunt for enormous painted eggs hidden around.

The day will have a range of activities and entertainment including live music, games, competitions, and prizes.

The event is free.

Easter Egg Hunt at The Hub in Westhoughton.

Or if you're more local to Weshoughton, why not head to an Easter Egg Hunt at The Hub.

During their two hour event, The Hub will be having arts and crafts, disco, face painting and an Easter bonnet competition. 

The event is free and will begin at 2pm.

Easter Fair at Coffee, Cake and Craft

Take your family for a fun day out at St Andrews Court from 10am until 3pm.

Coffee, Cake and Craft will be hosting an Easter Fair for the day with face painting, candy floss eating, bouncy castle jumping, games, a fancy dress competition, an Easter bonnett competition and games.

The event is free and organisers said local businesses can book a table if they wish to sell their products.

 

Sunday April 17

If you fancy a treasure hunt with the kids, head to Green Machine Cycle shop in Horwich and join the Horwich Ride Social team for a chocolate egg treasure hunt.

The team are inviting friends and familys to either cycle and walk to find hidden eggs.

The event starts from 9:30am and people will follow a three mile route with lots of clues along the way.

It is £2.50 for individual tickets or £5 for a family.

The event is supported by a grant from Horwich Parish Council and sponsored by Horwich Local Council.

There will be lots of cakes, hot drinks and a raffle.

Easter Sunday Family Fun Day at Kearsley and Ringley Concervative Club.

From 2pm until 6pm there will be an exciting amount of games and activites for the family.

The event includes an Easter bonnet parade, an easter egg hunt, a massive raffle in aid of local charities, a bouncy castle, games and competitions.

There will also be a BBQ.

The event is free for all to attend.
