A 22-year-old is juggling a new security business to help the community while soon turning pro as a boxer.

Isa Zarin from Deane in Bolton has recently opened IAZ Security, sending people support whenever they need it and offering protection and businesses.

Their services also include offering to help detain or perform a citizen’s arrest if someone is in distressing situation and police have not arrived.

The business is only in its second month.

Isa said: “I have a passion in this because when people have problems I want to help and be the first point of call.

“That’s why I wanted to do this. I have been in situations in my life where things have happened, and nobody was there to help me.

“Last year the idea came to me and then I finally decided to go for it now.”

IAZ Security can make checks to properties such as homes and businesses to ensure safety of belongings as well as event security.

The boxer said: “There are a number of burglaries recently and people don’t feel safe and want to use our service because they can rely on us.

“The first protocol is police, but they don’t always come as fast as you want but with us, we turn up as soon as possible and try our best to diffuse the situation.

“We are SIA accredited and can detain someone while waiting for police or perform citizen’s arrest.

“Or we might get people call us who are on holiday and want us to check their homes.”

Isa went to what is now Ladybridge High School before studying accountancy at college.

But his passion was in security and boxing, so he decided to take some time out concentrating on his boxing before setting up the business.

He said: “I felt accountancy wasn’t for me because I wanted to make a difference in the community somehow.

“I wanted to give back and both boxing and the business help to do this.

“The boxing gives me self-discipline and like teaching anyone new that comes in and hopefully one day I will become a champion, because that’s what I want to do as well as the security business.”
