Give us some history about the pub:

The pub was originally built in the 1800s and traded as The Horse Shoe from conception. In 2008 The pub was purchased by The Henighans Group and underwent a £300,000 transformation, introducing a meal offer and a more modern look although still retaining the traditional pub look but with modern twists including a stage and PA System. During the past 14 years we have continued to go from strength to strength.

Is food served? If so what’s on the menu?

Yes we serve delicious meals from Wednesday to Sunday between 12pm and 8pm including our wonderful Sunday Roast. We have an A La Carte menu available all day which concentrates on restaurant quality and style food but at pub prices and a pub classics menu served between 12pm and 3pm Wednesday to Friday.

Is there a beer garden?

Yes within the last 12 months we installed a 90-seat beer garden which is south facing and in the last month we have been installing a children’s adventure play area. We noticed that to our knowledge no other pub in Little Lever has one and most of the communal parks have been closed down.
