MAGISTRATES have fined three people after they were each caught driving vehicles without insurance.
Manchester Magistrates’ Court heard how Jason Budgeon, aged 37, of Poplar Avenue, Horwich, was caught driving a Vauxhall Corsa on Ivy Street, Bolton, on October 2 last year without a licence or insurance.
The case against him was proved and he was fined £660 also ordered to pay £156 in costs and charges while six points were added to his driving record.
A man had no insurance for the VW Toureg he was caught driving on Chorley Old Road, Bolton, on June 1 last year.
At Wigan Magistrates’ Court Sonny Dainton, aged 30, of Kent Court, Bolton, was found guilty of driving without insurance and was fined £440 plus £134 in costs and charges.
He was banned from diving for six months.
And a driver had no insurance for the Mazda he was caught driving on Gaskell Street, Bolton, on September 21 last year.
At Manchester Magistrates’ Court Russell Jones, aged 60, of Chorley Road, Adlington, was fined £660 after he was found guilty to committing the offence.
Jones was also ordered to pay £156 in costs and charges and six points were added to his licence.
