Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan said she hasn’t shared a bed with fiancé, Scott Sinclair, for seven years.

The Bolton born actress also joked that she and the Preston North End footballer, have been living like “flatmates” in the candid Instagram post.

Sharing pictures and a message to her one million Instagram followers, Helen revealed that the sleeping arrangements are a result of her co-sleeping with her three children, Matilda, 6, Delilah, 3, and Charlie, 1.

Helen, 31, added that co-sleeping and breastfeeding her kids went “hand in hand”.

She shared the update as she is trying to wean Charlie off breast milk, posing in her living room while holding him.

She said: “It’s been a good week of progress for Charles. Totally off my milk all throughout the day and just having a feed before bed and when he wakes up a milky feed.

“Had to do it gradual for Charlie and also for me that I don’t get mastitis.”

Helen, who left the Corrie cobbles in 2018 to go on maternity leave, also added that she has had childcare help this week so she can sort “general life admin”.

She said: “I’ve not had any regular kind of childcare for Charlie since he’s been born so it’s been nice to have some this past week to sort just general life admin that I had to do that you just can’t do with a baby and because I’ve had a pair of hands he’s not been frustrated during the day not having my milk.”

Helen also said she “can’t believe” that Charlie wants to sleep in his cot as the actress has always co-slept with him.

“He just seemed so unsettled next to me, Helen said. “I think a bit was a bit of constipation with eating more food bless him.

“I’ve always co slept with Charlie and the breastfeeding went hand in hand.”

She added that it will be nice to share a bed with Scott, who she has been engaged to since 2018, and “not feel like flat mates".

She said: “I’m doing my house up at the moment, hence why most of my pics are taken in lounge area as I haven’t gotten around to the rest.

“One of my next jobs is mine and Scott’s room and after seven years it would be nice as a couple to actually share a bed and not feel like flat mates.

“I’ve always just co slept with the kids out of easiness and just basically so I can sleep and just function in the morning.

“There is so many other lovely amazing stages after nursing… loving watching Charlie’s little personality grow.”
