All the fun of the fair can be enjoyed by familes this weeked.

Northwest Funfair is rolling into town on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15.

There will be a fun fair, food including burgers and hotdogs, ice cream, games, bouncy castles, slides and hook-a-duck and according to organisers so much more.

Karen Hill, Organiser of Northwest Funfairs with her son Kurt Hill, said they are excited to welcome people to back to Farnworth Central Park.

She said: "We are very excited for this weekend's event because there has not been anything at Farnworth Central Park for years and nothing in Farnworth for years.

"Since we posted the event on Facebook we have already had a lot of interest."

Karen thinks there will be a great turn out after the success of their event last weekend at Bobby Heywood Park.

She said: "It will be a great turn out, weather permitting.

"We did a very small funfair last weekend on a small scale and we has a really great turn out for both days.

"Now we are getting over the pandemic and the last two years, we're looking forward to bringing people back together."

The event will take place at Farnworth Central Park on Market Street, open on Saturday from 12 until 8pm and Sunday from 12 until 7pm.

It is free admission and free parking.

Ride tickets can be bought at £2 per ride or Buy five tickets and get three free.
