AGE UK Bolton’s legal advice service is now returning following the closure during the pandemic.

The service will be back at its office at The Square in Bolton town centre alongside the popular will making service.

The legal advice service is run in conjunction with solicitors from the Bolton Law Society who will offer free, confidential advice for half-hour sessions to Bolton’s over 50s.

The sessions will be held on Wednesday mornings, every four weeks, and will be offering advice on wills, probate, and power of attorney issues.

Business Support officer at Age UK Bolton, Declan Whorlow, who has been coordinating the relaunch of the service, said: “We are delighted to announce that we have reinstated the Legal Service at The Square.

“Before the suspension, due to the pandemic, the service has been much requested and has been missed by Bolton’s older people who were looking for legal advice.

“To have got back to being able to deliver these sessions every four weeks is brilliant and we look forward to being able to provide this crucial advice once again.”
