Circus performers are back in Bolton to put on a "wonderful" show.

The Wonder Circus, the Jubilee Tour, is touring with a brand new international circus production, and it's in Bolton now.

For eight days, performers will showcase a mix of traditional and contemporary circus acts for an hour and 50 minutes in the Wonder Circus big top on Salford Road, A6, next to Water Gate Toll Pub, Toby Carvery - including acrobats, aerialists, clowns, jugglers, a dog act with their rescue dog Harley and a liberty horse act.

A range of delicious circus treats will also be available to buy including candyfloss, popcorn, hot dogs and hot and cold drinks.

A spokesperson for The Wonder Circus said: "We are so excited to welcome back everyone it was such a difficult two years for our industry and we had to do different jobs but now finally we are so excited to perform and show our skills and passion and love what we do.

"The wonder circus is touring with a brand new international circus production at its very best.

"A mix of traditional and contemporary circus acts, a one of a kind celebration in our beautiful Wonder Circus Big Top.

"We really have something for everyone, if you are two or 99, you are sure to be in for an action-packed, fun-filled circus show.

The circus will be on until next Sunday, to buy tickets pop down to the on-site box office open 10am till 8pm, closed Monday May 16.

Ringside tickets are priced at £14 adult, £12 child.

Grandstand tickets are priced at £13 adult, £11 child.

And family day tickets for two adults and two children are priced at £45 ringside, £40 grandstand.

Child tickets are for ages two to 12 years.
