A Bolton man was found dead in a derelict mill, an inquest has heard.
Christopher Paxford was pronounced dead on Well Street earlier this month.
An inquest opened into the death of the 37-year-old at Bolton Coroner’s Court on Friday.
He had been living on Haydock Street in the town and was out of work at the time.
The inquest heard Mr Paxford was found in a derelict mill off Bank Street.
Paramedics and fire services attended and his death was pronounced afterwards.
His cause of death was given as a fractured skull. Police determined there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
Coroner Peter Sigee adjourned proceedings until a later date and offered his condolences to the family and friends of Mr Paxford.
