Drink driver

MAGISTRATES have banned a woman from the roads for 16 months after she was caught drink driving on Wigan Road, Wigan, on April 1. Karen Wallace, aged 41, of Borsdane Way, Westhoughton, also had no insurance for the Renault Clio she was driving at the time. She was fined £120.

Man given curfew

MAGISTRATES have ordered a man to be electronically tagged after he admitted damaging a woman’s window on Christmas Day last year and a man’s van and windows on October 26. Graham Richardson, aged 52, of Cressingham Road, Bolton, was sentenced to an 8pm to 8am curfew for 12 weeks and must also participate in 25 days of rehabilitation activities. He was ordered to pay £1,000 in compensation and a restraining order was made banning him from contacting his victim or going to Chip Hill Road, Bolton.

Drunk and disorderly

A MAN who was drunk and disorderly in the A&E department at the Royal Bolton Hospital on April 3 has been fined £120. Dominic Burns, aged 52, of The Pewfist, Westhoughton, pleaded guilty.

Failed to stop for police

A DRIVER who failed to stop for police has been banned from holding a licence for 56 days. Khalid Mulla, aged 23, of Victory Street, Bolton, pleaded guilty to committing the offence on March 27 when he drove a BMW on Chorley New Road, Bolton. He also admitted careless driving, having no insurance for the vehicle and possessing cannabis.and was fined £200.

Fined over amphetamine

MAGISTRATES have fined a man £200 after he was caught in possession of amphetamine in Bolton on March 24. Robert Greeney, aged 48, of Georgina Court, Bolton, pleaded guilty to committing the offence, which was in breach of a conditional discharge in January for possessing the drug.

Careless driver

A CARELESS driver who had drunk more than double the legal alcohol limit has been banned from holding a licence for 19 months. Toni Hill, aged 24, of Leigh Road, Hindley Green, admitted committing the offences when she drove a Kia on Haynes Road, Bolton, on April 3. She was fined £384.

Caught with drugs

MAGISTRATES have fined a man £120 after he was caught with cannabis and cocaine in Bolton on Match 27. Lewis Davies, aged 25, of Mobberley Road, Bolton, pleaded guilty to committing the offences.

Van man was drink driving

A VAN driver has been banned from the roads for 15 months. Callan McGuinness, aged 26, of Ryder Street, Bolton, was caught drink driving in a Ford Transit van on Ralf Street, Bolton, on March 25. He was fined £120.

Audi driver banned from the roads

AN AUDI driver has been banned from the roads for 18 months after she was caught drink-driving. Hannah Watson, aged 20, of Parnham Close, Radcliffe, pleaded guilty to committing the offence when she drove an Audi Q2 on Masefield Road, Bolton, on March 17. She was fined £120.

Caught with cannabis

A MAN who was caught with cannabis in Bolton on November 9 last year has been fined £80. Abdi Mahat, aged 25, of Rigby Court, Bolton, pleaded guilty to committing the offence.

No licence on motorway

A MOTORIST who drove a Vauxhall Corsa on the M60 without a licence or insurance has been fined £660. Abdi Shakour, aged 27, of Thornbank, Bolton, was convicted of committing the offences on the motorway at Junction 15 on September 27 last year. As well as the fine, Shakour was banned from applying for a driving licence for 12 months.

Front door damaged

MAGISTRATES have fined a man £440 after he damaged a front door belonging to Bolton at Home. Azid Gillibrand, aged 26, of The Crescent, Westhoughton, denied committing criminal damage but was convicted following a trial. He was ordered to pay £66 in compensation.

Suspended prison sentence

A MAN has been spared jail after he repeatedly went to a house in Little Hulton in breach of a non-molestation order. Warren Moores, aged 34, of Bridgeman Place, Bolton, pleaded guilty to committing the offences and was sentenced to 12 months in prison, suspended for two years. He was ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work plus 20 days of rehabilitation activities.

Pickup truck damaged

MAGISTRATES have fined a man after he admitted damaging a Nissan Navara pickup truck in Salford on June 13 last year. Nathan Pollard, aged 25, of Crescent Road, Bolton, was fined £100.

Jail for man with hunting knife

A MAN caught carrying a large hunting knife in Little Hulton has been jailed for 52 weeks. Saul Derbyshire, aged 23, of Brentwood Drive, Bolton, had the knife with him on Manchester Road East on May 6.

Pensioner breached court order

MAGISTRATES have fined a pensioner £120 after he contacted a woman in breach of a non-molestation order. David Gerrard, aged 73, of Crompton Close, Bolton, pleaded guilty to committing the offence between April 18 and June 7 last year.

Drunk and disorderly

KANE Carpenter, aged 18, of Barton Road, Farnworth has been sentenced to a conditional discharge for six months after he admitted being drunk and disorderly in Bradshawgate, Bolton, on April 24.
