Bromley Cross estate agency Claves has teamed up with Rosemere Cancer Foundation to launch a ‘charity begins at home’ partnership that means it will now gift the foundation £25 on every house sale it completes.
The company, which launched in 2020 and lists properties across Bolton, Blackburn, Darwen, Ribble Valley, Chorley and Bury, has signed up to the scheme for an initial 12 months.
Managing director Warren Haworth said: “We became aware of Rosemere Cancer Foundation and its work through the support it has given to staff, family members and clients touched by cancer.
“It is part of our corporate ethos to give back to the community we serve. In partnering with Rosemere Cancer Foundation, we believe we have chosen a charity that is really making a difference locally and which we therefore believe our clients will be happy for us to support.”
Dan Hill, the charity’s chief officer, said: “I would like to thank Warren and his Claves team for coming to us with this fantastic offer of support.”
Rosemere Cancer Foundation works to bring world-class cancer treatments and services to cancer patients from throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria being treated at Rosemere Cancer Centre, the region’s specialist cancer treatment and radiotherapy centre at the Royal Preston Hospital, and also at another eight local hospital cancer units across the two counties, including that at the Royal Blackburn Hospital.
