A DELIVERY driver has been threatened with weapons during an attempted robbery in Oldham.
Just after 9.30pm last night, officers were called to reports of an attempted robbery on Elm Road in Limeside.
A delivery driver was threatened with two weapons during the attempted robbery and suffered a minor hand injury.
The perpetrators made off from the scene empty-handed.
One man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and remains in custody.
Enquiries are ongoing.
A GMP spokesperson said: “Officers were called to a report of an attempted robbery on Elm Road, Limeside, Oldham just after 9.30pm last night, May 21.
“A delivery driver was threatened with two weapons. He received a minor hand injury. Those involved made off from the scene empty-handed.
“One male has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and remains in custody at this time.”
