An old office space has been transformed into a centre of calm.

A new yoga and wellness studio has opened its doors in Egerton to create a safe and happy space, helping the community look after their mental health.

Yoga and Wellness Studio, Copper Sun Studios, officially opened its doors at the beginning of April at Deakins Mill Way and has spent the last two months building the operation from the ground up.

One of the main reasons it was set up was to help those who have found it extra tough in the past two years, and for those wanting to put their mental and physical health first.

In these two short months a jam-packed timetable has been put together, including Yoga and Pilates classes, and additional sessions, with some very talented wellness practitioners; who’ve facilitated breathwork workshops; meditation classes; and sound baths.

Co-owner Pete Sullivan said: “There is just so much Copper Sun Studios can do – all centred around mental and physical wellbeing in the Bolton area.

“It is not just a yoga studio - though there is plenty of yoga, Pilates and stretch - the key messaging and the reason for Copper Sun's existence is the desire to create space for wellness in what have been tough times for many.

“There are endless possibilities/services/activities that could be held, helping to improve the understanding and workings of wellness within each of us.

“That’s what Copper Sun Studios wants to be: a place of wellness.”

Danielle Davies – who is also part owner – said: “We are so excited about what the future holds for our Yoga and Wellness Studio.

“The idea that we've opened and are already welcoming people into classes, workshops and treatments is just out of this world.

“We primarily opened to hold space for the people in our community, with the focus of creating a safe and happy place for them to work on their mental and physical wellbeing.

“And that's the real message we want to hold onto.

“This studio is for our community with many exciting and new events being planned.”
