Creative-minded young people in Bolton are being invited to join a project aimed at shaping the future of arts and culture in the borough.
The Creatives Now project is running sessions at a town centre studio at Crompton Place shopping centre open to and 12 to 18 years who are interested in arts, culture, festival, digital production and events management.
They will have the chance to meet creative industry professionals and learn how to develop their own projects.
A statement said: “We're look for young people to join our creative project for 12 to 18 year olds.
“The Creatives Now group has their own studio in the Crompton Place Shopping Centre.
“Pop down to see us on a Saturday afternoon, between 12 and 3pm, if you want to see what goes on there, loads of designing and making, sound and film opportunities, creative writing, trips and talks.”
Young people will also have the opportunity to learn about arts career pathways, develop their CVs, to explore new art forms and to take part in trips to various cultural venues.
Organisers hope they will then be able to become part of the arts and culture decision making process in Bolton in the future.
