A smash hit comedy has started this week at Bolton's Octagon Theatre.

The Octagon’s acclaimed spring/summer 2022 season closes with a hilarious bang as the sensational, smash-hit comedy One Man Two Guvnors opened in Bolton yesterday, Thursday.

One Man, Two Guvnors, by Richard Bean and based on The Servant to Two Masters by Carlo Goldoni, is set in 1963 and follows the antics of recently fired Francis Henshall as he attempts to juggle duties for two new "guvnors", trying to keep them apart to avoid discovery of his double life – with hysterical results.

Performers have been busy in the rehearsal room over the past few months to make the show as outstanding as possible.

This includes Jordan Pearson, who is making his professional stage debut in the iconic role of Francis Henshall.

Speaking of the show he said: "I am so excited to be playing this role.

"I absolutely love the play and it’s brilliant to be part of such an exciting show.

"I am nervous about stepping into some big shoes but with this unbelievably brilliant company, I know audiences will have an amazing time.

"Come and watch the show and I guarantee you will leave a happier person!"

The show runs at the Octagon Theatre until Saturday, June 25 and tickets start at £15.
