A man from Farnworth has been sentenced to 18 months imprisonment for a series of offences.

On April 29, officers from Greater Manchester Police Bolton South said that Ryan Haywood, 29, of Prospect Avenue, Farnworth, had been arrested by colleagues on the B relief response team.

After this, the case was followed up by the Farnworth Neighbourhood officers who secured charges of one count of theft, two of vehicle interference, two counts of assault against an emergency worker, one of possession of a bladed article in a public place and three other charges related to burglaries and theft.

On May 26, Haywood attended Bolton Crown court for these offences and was found guilty, police have said.

He recieved a total of 18 months imprisonment.
