Bolton Parkrun had its seventh highest ever attendance over the weekend as the event marked its 500th event.
The 5k race at Leverhulme Park began in 2011 when just 60 people took part.
And this weekend 405 people walked, jogged and ran the course to mark the occasion.
The participants completed the course which includes having to run twice up a steep incline dubbed Cruella De Hill which takes place near the beginning of the fourth and final kilometre.
There were representatives of 40 running clubs, 56 people taking part for the first time and 45 runners completes a personal best on the course.
The event was made possible by 44 volunteers and supported by Backup Charity which sold coffee and cakes to raise funds to help homeless people in the town.
